Peace Kindergarten Cairns is seeking a passionate Certificate III or Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time position of up to 37.5 hours per week.
Located in a beautiful, purpose-built Kindergarten featuring three contemporary learning rooms and lush tropical outdoor spaces, Peace Kindergarten Cairns is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, inclusive and community-focused environment.

?? About the Role
As a Qualified Educator, you will:
Supervise and engage children in stimulating indoor and outdoor learning experiences
Support Early Childhood Teachers and Inclusion Support (above ratio)
Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
Assist in delivering programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment
Hold current Child Protection Training in accordance with Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law
✅ About You
You will have:




A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Kindergarten experience (preferred)
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)
A current Blue Card, current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service
Food handling experience (desirable but not essential)
