Through this recruitment we are establishing a dynamic talent pool for the Senior Solicitor IV role to fill vacancies now and into the future.About the roleAs a Senior Solicitor, Legal Officer Grade IV, you will be responsible for the conduct of assigned legal matters involving legal advice and statutory interpretation, dispute resolution and litigation and/or advocacy within a specialist legal practice group.
You will have the opportunity to work across a range of challenging, varied, engaging and often high-profile advice and litigation matters representing NSW government agencies in a broad range of courts and tribunals.
This includes, but is not limited to, areas of law related to:Administrative and constitutional lawChild lawCivil liabilityCommercial law and Dispute ResolutionCriminal lawEmployment and Industrial RelationsInquests and Special InquiriesProperty and Native Title.We have a diverse range of practice groups across the CSO.
