while supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.Deliver advanced AOD and psychosocial assessments, including risk, parenting capacity and family functioningProvide evidence-based counselling and therapeutic interventions to parents, children and familiesLead complex case formulation, clinical reviews, safety planning and multidisciplinary decision makingProvide clinical supervision, secondary consultation and specialist guidance to clinicians and partner agenciesLead quality improvement, service evaluation, reflective practice and the development of clinical resourcesQualification: A minimum bachelor degree of Social Work/Counselling or a related fieldor Tertiary qualifications in PsychologyRegistration: If Psychologist General Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and completion of a four-year sequence of accredited undergraduate study in the discipline of psychology (or equivalent completed overseas and has completed a minimum of one year at the 9thyear of service and thereafter.)Selection CriteriaProfessional eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Work or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia; or registration with Psychology Board of AustraliaDemonstrated substantial experience in delivering counselling, trauma informed interventions, and psychosocial treatment to individuals and families impacted by substance use.Demonstrated substantial experience in AOD comprehensive assessment, parenting capacity assessment, risk assessment, and family functioning evaluation.Demonstrated substantial experience to consult on and lead case formulation, reflective practice, and clinical discussions within a multidisciplinary environmentSignificant experience providing clinical supervision to allied health staff and/or students.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cooperative partnerships with government and non government agencies.Advanced understanding of integrated, family centred AOD care including harm reduction, child protection collaboration, and principles of safety planning.Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel across the LHDRequisition ID: REQ******Applications Close:7 September ****Need more informationPeople with disabilities who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply; and where required, WSLHD will implement reasonable adjustment consistent with industry standard.Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
