A renowned infrastructure and renewables company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing Australian legal team.Position DescriptionReporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with other senior in-house counsel and business leaders across Australia.This is a senior, hands-on position that combines both strategic and transactional responsibilities advising on major infrastructure and energy projects.
You will draft, negotiate and advise on:Services agreementsFramework agreementsEPC / construction and engineering contractsO&M;, asset management and long-term service arrangementsYou will lead contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, contractors and joint venture partners and work closely with the business to identify and manage commercial and legal risk.You will run tendering, bids and procurement process and advice on contract variations, disputes and claims management throughout the life cycle of the projects.Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will bring:6+ years' post-qualification experience in construction and infrastructure law,



gained within a leading law firm and/or major EPC or project delivery organisation.Strong technical construction and projects experience, ideally with exposure to energy and renewables.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party transactions with a commercial and solutions-focused mindset.A collaborative and proactive approach, thriving in a lean and high-performing team.This role suits a lawyer who enjoys working closely with project teams and senior executives in a rapid-paced, global business environment.Additional BenefitsCompetitive remuneration packageHybrid working arrangement (3 days in office).
