Technology Recruiting Solutions – Melbourne VICWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a major enterprise data migration program with a Top ASX listed organisations with an immediate start.
This is a hands‐on SQL Server and ETL engineering role, migrating data from multiple legacy platforms into a modern enterprise CRM workplace.
The key requirements are advanced SQL Server, stored procedures, ETL and complex enterprise data migration experience.
Previous Salesforce or CRM migration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.Key responsibilitiesDesign and build end-to-end ETL pipelines supporting a large-scale CRM migrationExtract and migrate data from multiple legacy and enterprise source systemsDevelop and optimise complex SQL Server stored proceduresBuild sophisticated transformation, mapping and data-processing logicImplement source-to-target mappings and reusable migration frameworksProfile, cleanse, standardise and remediate complex dataBuild automated validation, reconciliation, audit and data-quality controlsInvestigate failed records, migration exceptions and data-quality issuesSupport migration rehearsals, performance testing,



cutover and post-load remediationWork closely with CRM, integration, business and upstream data teamsContribute to migration standards, controls and engineering practicesKey skills and experienceStrong senior-level data engineering and enterprise data migration experienceDemonstrated experience delivering complex migrations involving multiple source systemsAdvanced SQL Server and T-SQL capabilityStrong experience writing, debugging and optimising complex stored proceduresExperience developing and orchestrating ETL pipelines using SSIS or an equivalent enterprise integration toolStrong source-to-target mapping and transformation experienceStrong data profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation capabilityExperience investigating migration defects, failed records and data anomaliesExperience supporting migration rehearsals, cutover and post-load validationProven delivery within a large enterprise or regulated environmentExperience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, Talend or similar tools is beneficialSalesforce, CRM or SaaS data migration experience is highly desirable
