Senior Landscape ArchitectLocation: Doncaster, VICDuration: 3 MonthsHours: 22.8 hours per week (Tuesday to Thursday)Rate: $65 per hour + SuperWe are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to support the planning, design, and delivery of a range of open space and playspace upgrade projects.
Working within a dynamic team, you will play a key role in shaping attractive, functional, and vibrant public spaces that enhance community wellbeing and contribute to the creation of liveable environments.
You will manage projects from concept through to delivery, while engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and delivery of open space and playspace improvement projectsDevelop landscape designs that align with organisational objectives and community needsUndertake site assessments, data collection, and project analysis to inform design outcomesPrepare project plans, reports, specifications, and supporting documentationManage project timelines, budgets, consultants, and contractors where requiredEngage and collaborate with internal departments, community groups,



and external stakeholdersProvide professional landscape architectural advice and recommendationsEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, policies, and best practicesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic open space planningAbout YouProven experience as a Landscape Architect, ideally within local government or a similar public sector environmentExperience delivering open space, parks, and playspace projectsStrong customer service and stakeholder engagement skillsExcellent data collection, research, and analytical capabilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to prepare concise, accurate plans, reports, and project documentationExperience managing and influencing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholdersStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesA cooperative and solutions-focused approach to project deliveryAt Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
