Senior Customer Service - Equine IndustryDo you know horses — really know horses?
Marsh Carney Saddlery is looking for an experienced horse person to join our Tamworth team in a full-time senior sales and customer service role.We are seeking someone with genuine, practical equine knowledge who understands horses, riders and the products they rely on.You may have grown up on a property, competed for years, worked with horses professionally, been involved in campdrafting, showing, cutting, pony club, racing, breeding or another part of the horse industry.
You don't necessarily need years of retail experience — your horse knowledge, people skills and attitude are what matter most.THE ROLEThis is a hands-on, customer-focused position in our Tamworth store.
You'll spend your days talking to customers, understanding what they need and helping them choose the right products for themselves and their horses.You'll also:Provide knowledgeable, practical advice across our equine product rangeBuild relationships with our customers and provide the friendly service Marsh Carney Saddlery is known forAssist with merchandising, stock presentation and the day-to-day running of the storeBe part of a small, passionate teamShare your equine knowledge while continuing to build your product expertiseHelp create a welcoming store where customers genuinely enjoy shoppingWHO WE'RE LOOKING FORAbove all,



we're looking for a horse person who loves people.You'll ideally have:Strong practical horse knowledge and experienceConfidence talking about horses, equipment and the needs of different riders and disciplinesA genuine love of talking with customers and helping peopleExcellent communication and customer service skillsA positive, reliable and team-focused attitudeThe confidence to work independently while also being part of a close-knit teamHigh standards when it comes to presentation and customer servicePrevious retail experience is an advantage, but extensive equine knowledge and the right personality are particularly important to us.HOURSThis is a permanent full-time position working a 76-hour fortnight.Weekday hours: 9:00am – 5:30pmSaturdays: Rostered Saturdays are required.Please consider these hours carefully before applying, as regular Saturday availability is an important part of the position.WHY MARSH CARNEY SADDLERY?
