This role focuses on:Building platforms and tooling that improve efficiency in creating and managing contentDesign, develop and deploy solutions with leads, designers, and product managers to deliver features for usersCommunicate effectively with Product Managers and Engineers across Canva to address complex issuesFacilitate knowledge sharing and advocate for engineering needs to non-technical stakeholdersModels initiative and ownership in achieving goals, improving processes and solutionsIdentify opportunities for cross-team collaboration on current ideas and improvementsYou're probably a match if you haveComputer Science Fundamentals - Concurrency, multithreading, data structures, architecture, and design patternsPassion for UX and Collaboration - Experience crafting exceptional user experiences and working with designers and engineersCollaborative mindset - Thrives in a cross-functional environmentStrong strategic skills - Ability to break down complex projects and deliver high-quality workEffective written and verbal communication - Ability to articulate ideas and provide constructive feedback on pull requestsMentorship and Knowledge Sharing - Contribute to a culture of growth through guidance and code reviewsAbout the teamThe Pages Platform group develops platforms that empower Canva's teams to build engaging and high-performance pages, covering content management, experimentation, localization, accessibility, performance, and more.The CMS team creates a content management solution tailored to Canva's needs, with features for managing and arranging content and running experiments, localization, and hosting assets.About the roleAs a member of the CMS team, you will work on capabilities to support Canva's content management needs, closely collaborating with the product manager, product designer, engineers, and users to design solutions across localization, experimentation, UX, and related problem spaces.
You will also collaborate with stakeholders from different teams to provide a cohesive and intuitive experience for the platform's users.What's in it for you?
