About the role
L'Atelier for Children' is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Scarborough, WA. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and engaging educational experiences for children in our early learning centre.

What you'll be doing

Creating and implementing age-appropriate learning programs that foster the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children
Providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports children's wellbeing and encourages learning through play
Developing strong relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication and collaboration
Observing and documenting children's progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet their individual needs
Ensuring the centre's compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to early childhood education

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's programs and practices

What we're looking for

A Diploma or Cert 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care
Demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a similar early learning centre environment
Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and their families
A passion for creating engaging and enriching learning experiences for young children
Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing setting for children

Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check, Child Safety training
