Western NSW Local Health District is seeking casual Sonographers to deliver diagnostic imaging services across our regional, rural and remote facilities.

This is more than just a casual position-it's a chance to broaden your clinical experience, work with diverse patient populations, and make a genuine difference in communities where your expertise is highly valued.

Why Join Us?

We offer a highly attractive rural incentive package designed to reward flexibility, travel and specialist skills, including:

✅ Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) or Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) opportunities

✅ Paid accommodation and subsistence allowances

✅ Paid travel between sites

✅ On-call allowances in addition to your base salary

✅ A diverse and challenging caseload rarely seen in metropolitan settings

✅ The opportunity to explore some of NSW's most unique communities and landscapes

✅ The support of a team-oriented and experienced imaging team across the District

Whether you're looking to supplement your current work commitments, experience rural healthcare, or simply enjoy a change of scenery, this role offers flexibility, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

Dual qualifications in Radiography and Sonography would be highly regarded and provide additional opportunities across our service.

Bring your expertise to where it's needed most-and discover the professional and personal rewards of rural health.
