Australian Network Services PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Welder and/or Metal Fabricator for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) across NSW in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Title: Welder and/or Metal Fabricator, Full- time position
Salary: A$ 90,000.00 to 98,000.00 plus super
Work Location: In person.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:
Requirements

- Certificate 3 including 2 years' experience or Certificate 4 in Engineering-Fabrication Trade/(Welding)
- Proven experience as Welder and/or Metal Fabricator for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and strength.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

- Interpreting blueprints: Understanding detailed plans to guide fabrication.
- Cutting and shaping metal: Using tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal pieces.




- Welding and joining: Employing different welding techniques to fuse metal parts.
- Inspecting and testing: Ensuring the integrity and quality of the fabricated parts.
- Diagnosing issues: Identifying problems with metal components.
- Performing repairs: Fixing or replacing damaged parts.
- Conducting regular maintenance: Keeping equipment in optimal working condition.
- Adhering to standards: Following industry and safety standards.
- Inspecting finished products: Conducting thorough inspections for defects.
- Documenting processes: Keeping records of fabrication and inspection activities.
- Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project requirements are met
