ConsultANZ is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a leading ground engineering contractor based in Sydney, NSW. This is an office-based role where you'll work with the Design Manager and a collaborative design team, delivering detailed designs for a variety of ground improvement and foundation projects.

Main Duties:

- Prepare detailed designs for ground engineering and foundation projects.
- Design solutions for Deep Soil Mixing (DSM), stone columns, deep compaction, driven piles, and other ground improvement methods.
- Carry out geotechnical analysis using Plaxis, Wallap, and SLOPE/W.
- Review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
- Work closely with drafters, engineers, and project teams to deliver quality design solutions.
- Provide technical support during project delivery and ensure designs meet Australian standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering.




- 8+ years of experience in ground engineering, geotechnical, or piling design.
- Strong experience with ground improvement and foundation design methodologies.
- Proficient in Plaxis, Wallap, SLOPE/W, or similar geotechnical software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
