Role
We are currently recruiting for two exciting contract opportunities for one of our leading clients:
- Structural Engineer
- Naval Architect
These roles will support complex engineering and sustainment projects across maritime platforms. Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute to the design, assessment, maintenance and ongoing support of critical assets while ensuring engineering solutions meet safety, quality and operational requirements.

Location: Sydney
These roles are ideal for recent graduates or engineers with 2-3 years of experience who are looking to build their careers on complex engineering and sustainment projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers, supporting the design, assessment, maintenance and ongoing engineering of critical assets while developing your technical capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering design, analysis and sustainment activities for complex infrastructure or maritime projects.
- Prepare, review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.
- Contribute to engineering assessments, maintenance planning and design improvements.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant standards, safety and quality requirements.
- Assist with technical investigations, problem-solving and engineering reporting.
- Support project delivery through effective stakeholder communication and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Understanding of engineering design principles, structural analysis, ship structures, stability, hydrodynamics or related engineering concepts.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Exposure to engineering software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Navisworks, ShipConstructor, Siemens NX or similar would be advantageous.
- Experience within defence, maritime, shipbuilding, engineering consulting or heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.
Qualifications & Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering,
Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Recent graduates through to candidates with a few years of relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
