Lerch Farms Pty Ltd is seeking ten (10) reliable and hardworking Farm Labourers to join our horticultural farming operation at Laidley Heights in the Lockyer Valley area of Queensland.
The successful applicants will undertake a range of general farm and horticultural duties, including planting, cultivating, harvesting, sorting, grading, packing and maintaining crops. The roles involve regular physical work and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Duties

- Planting, cultivating and maintaining horticultural crops
- Harvesting vegetables and other horticultural produce
- Sorting, grading and packing harvested produce
- Weeding and general crop maintenance
- Preparing growing areas and assisting with irrigation
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools and equipment
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Performing other general farm duties as directed by the Farm Manager or Supervisor

Skills and Experience
- Previous farm or horticultural experience is not essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable,



punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Valuable attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures
- A strong work ethic and willingness to undertake repetitive tasks
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia

Training and appropriate workplace instruction will be provided.

Employment Conditions
These are full-time positions. Employment conditions, including wages, hours of work, overtime, leave and superannuation, will be provided in accordance with Australian workplace laws and the applicable industrial instrument, including the Horticulture Award 2020 (MA000028) .
The positions may involve early morning starts, weekend work and additional hours depending on crop requirements and seasonal conditions. Any additional work will be undertaken in accordance with applicable workplace laws and employment conditions.
