Your current company

Join a major temporary workforce contributing to the Kogan Creek Power Station Overhaul. This large-scale shutdown will bring together a range of skilled trades, including welders, boilermakers, fitters, riggers and electricians, to complete critical maintenance and upgrade works across the facility.

Your new role

As a Rigger, you will be responsible for safely lifting, positioning, and securing structural steel, plant equipment, piping, and heavy components throughout the plant overhaul. Working closely with boilermakers, welders, crane operators, and other trades, you will support critical maintenance and upgrade works while ensuring all lifting operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures and quality standards. This role is based at Kogan Creek Power Station for the full two-month duration of the project, with camp accommodation and meals provided. You will work a Monday to Saturday roster, completing 8-12-hour shifts and rotating between day and night shifts as required. Due to the nature of the shutdown, candidates must be committed to remaining on-site for the entirety of the project. Travel is not provided to Kogan Creek.

What you'll need to succeed





- To be able to commit to the 2-month-long project and work a rotating roster from Monday to Saturday.
- Current High Risk Work Licence (Rigging)
- Previous experience in rigging within industrial, shutdown, maintenance or construction,
- Current White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets, or the willingness to obtain them prior to commencement.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a functional assessment, chest X-ray, drug and alcohol screening.
- Be able to get to Kogan Creek with your own reliable transport, and remain on the site for 2 months.
