About the Role

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Splunk & DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, deployment management, and operational reliability. This role will see you working across enterprise platforms to design, maintain, and optimise automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Build and enhance infrastructure automation using Ansible playbooks.
- Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and source control processes.
- Administer Linux environments and develop Bash and shell scripting solutions.
- Support and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, ELB, S3, Route 53, and IAM.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Develop automation utilities and scripts using Python.
- Manage and troubleshoot Splunk deployments across on-premise, SaaS, and AWS environments.
- Utilise Jira and Confluence for documentation, issue tracking, and knowledge management.
- Collaborate closely with application, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure stable and efficient deployments.





Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and optimising Jenkins pipelines.
- Intermediate-level experience with Ansible playbooks and configuration management.
- Strong GitHub knowledge including branching strategies and repository management.
- Solid Linux administration skills.
- Advanced Bash and shell scripting capabilities.
- Experience supporting AWS cloud services including EC2, ELB, S3, Route 53, and IAM.
- Python scripting experience for automation and operational support.
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting, particularly within Jenkins environments.
- Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, deployment methodologies, and query execution.
- Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.

Desirable Skills

- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
