About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established and globally recognised investment management organisation.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, management accounting and commercial analysis across a number of portfolio companies.
Working closely with the Assistant Controller and broader commercial finance team, you will have exposure to a diverse range of stakeholders across Australia and internationally.

The Role

- Managing month-end accounting processes
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial and management reports
- Supporting year-end reporting and external audit requirements
- Preparing variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Preparing and maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting cash flow reporting, forecasting and working capital management
- Ensuring appropriate financial controls and procedures are maintained
- Liaising with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting systems and operational efficiency
- Providing commercial and financial analysis to support business decision-making




- Assisting senior finance leaders with process, cost and internal control improvements

About You

- Minimum five years' management accounting experience
- CA or CPA qualified
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a comparable accounting role, ideally within a complex or multinational organisation
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills
- Commercial acumen and an understanding of business operations
- Experience working across multiple entities or business units
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
