Where you’ll be working
This permanent position places you within a comprehensive, multidisciplinary mental health service focused on dual disability care. You will work across complex caseloads involving the psychiatry of intellectual disability alongside general adult psychiatry, exercising a high level of clinical autonomy while receiving direct performance oversight and guidance from a Dual Disability Consultant Psychiatrist. The service operates within a collaborative environment that values evidence-based practice and strong peer links, offering an ideal setting for a specialty grade doctor to broaden their subspecialty expertise while delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care.

Salary
The base salary range for this role is $128,750 to $183,340 per annum (Career Medical Officer Levels 1 - 7), plus 12% superannuation. Additional benefits include a Continuing Professional Development allowance, generous leave provisions, and salary packaging options.

The estimated total remuneration package ranges between $160,000 and $220,000 per annum depending on experience and applicable allowances.

Requirements
Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with minimum Level 2 supervision requirements, OR eligibility for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway
