Role -Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced AO8 Project Manager to support a major Enterprise Programs, Planning and Delivery function within a government environment.

This role requires strong expertise in delivering complex, high-risk enterprise projects, with a focus on business process outcomes rather than purely ICT delivery. You will play a key role in developing Project Management Plans within a requirements and risk-based delivery and assurance framework, ensuring alignment with best-practice methodologies, governance frameworks, and organisational standards.

Candidates with previous government experience and familiarity with public sector governance and legislative frameworks will be highly regarded.

Employment Type: Contract (6 months + ext)

Location: North Brisbane

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the successful delivery of multiple complex enterprise projects, ensuring outcomes meet business and customer needs
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Project Management Plans aligned with risk-based delivery and assurance frameworks
- Provide expert advice and strategic input to ensure project deliverables align with organisational policies, strategies, and enterprise architecture
- Monitor and report on project performance, risks, trends, schedules, and budgets to support informed decision-making
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across internal and external parties
- Facilitate clear communication and change adoption across business units

Required Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience delivering complex,



high-risk enterprise projects within government environments
- Strong background in business process-focused project delivery, rather than purely ICT-driven initiatives
- Expertise in project governance, planning, budgeting, risk management, and assurance frameworks
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within large enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with D365 and/or Business Central environments highly regarded
- Experience with CRM platforms or enterprise business systems advantageous

Qualifications & Clearance
- Extensive Project Management experience at a senior level (AO8 equivalent or similar)
- Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent) highly regarded
- Ability to commence within required timeframes
