Our client currently requires an experienced Waterproofer to provide high-quality waterproofing solutions to primarily residential properties across the North-Western areas of Melbourne and South-Western areas (inc. Geelong). In this full time role, you will be based in our client Port Melbourne Depot and work closely with our experienced team to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standards and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and clean surfaces for waterproofing application
- Apply waterproofing membranes, sealants and coatings in compliance with industry standards
- Screeding Shower Bases
- Effectively communicate with clients, project managers and other tradespeople
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Assist with other general building and construction tasks as required
About you
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Waterproofer or in a similar building trade role able to screed shower bases
- Certificate III in Waterproofing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Own reliable Ute or van capable of carrying waterproofing equipment and materials
- Construction Industry White Card
