East Metro & Murrindindi Local Health Service Network (LHSN)

Victoria's Local Health Service Network is a partnership with Alexandra District Health, Eastern Health, St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, as well as Yea & District Memorial Hospital, are now part of the East Metro & Murrindindi Local Health Service Network (LHSN). Each health service will retain its individual identity, however this new Network will strengthen collaboration, increase access, and improve health outcomes for our community.

About the role

As part of the Allied Health Reliever Pool Pilot, we are seeking experienced and motivated Grade 3 Senior Occupational Therapists to provide clinical leadership and senior Occupational Therapy expertise across a range of acute, subacute, rehabilitation and community settings within the LHSN.

Working across diverse health services and clinical environments, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy intervention for patients with complex clinical needs, while supporting clinicians and teams to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care. You will also provide senior clinical consultation, leadership and supervision to Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, working collaboratively with Occupational Therapy leaders, Allied Health teams and multidisciplinary colleagues across the Network.

Depending on service requirements and your clinical experience, opportunities may be available across acute care, rehabilitation, subacute care,



community programs and specialty clinical streams.

This position will suit an experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys clinical leadership, developing others and working collaboratively across different teams, health services and clinical settings.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
- Substantial postgraduate Occupational Therapy experience
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills relevant to hospital, rehabilitation, subacute or community practice
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and support to Occupational Therapy staff and/or students
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to manage and provide consultation regarding complex clinical presentations
- Flexibility and confidence working across a range of clinical environments and health service sites
- Experience working across multiple clinical streams, providing senior clinical consultation or supporting workforce development will be highly regarded.
