As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards before they are shipped to our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing electronic components and assemblies, identifying defects, and working closely with the production team to implement corrective actions.
Position Description:
- Inspect SMT and Through-Hole component assemblies for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform visual and functional testing of electronic assemblies using industry-standard equipment and methodologies.
- Identify, document, and report defects, collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct in-process inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
To be successful in these roles you will need:
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on SMT and Through-Hole assembly.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, assembly processes, and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, including microscopes, multi-meters, and functional test fixtures.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and ISO 9001 is a plus.
