The Role:

This is a hands-on technology role focused on building software, automation and AI solutions that solve business challenges and improve productivity. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and technology partners to identify opportunities, deliver practical solutions and help shape the organisation’s technology roadmap.

The role offers real ownership and the opportunity to experiment, innovate and introduce smarter ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build and maintain internal software applications, integrations and workflow automations
- Identify manual and repetitive processes and develop technology solutions to improve efficiency
- Use platforms such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Automate, Zapier and custom development frameworks to deliver practical solutions
- Improve integration and data flows across business systems, including practice management, CRM and workflow platforms
- Explore and prototype AI and machine learning use cases that can improve productivity, quality and business insight
- Support the safe, practical and scalable adoption of AI across the organisation
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points and technology opportunities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, solution designs and delivery plans
- Provide technical advice on solution feasibility, technology options and trade-offs
- Ensure solutions are practical, intuitive and supported by appropriate documentation, testing and ongoing enhancement
- Work alongside external IT providers on technology projects, solution reviews and planning
- Provide technical input into vendor-delivered solutions and support solution validation and acceptance testing




- Contribute to the development of an internal technology innovation and transformation roadmap
- Progressively support vendor coordination and technology governance as the organisation's internal technology capability develops

Skills & Experience:

- 2–5 years' experience in software development, automation, systems integration or business-facing technology roles
- Demonstrated experience building internal applications, tools, integrations or workflow automations
- Strong understanding of modern software development environments, APIs and integration patterns
- Practical experience with automation platforms, AI tools or emerging technology
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Automate, Zapier or similar platforms will be highly regarded
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn business challenges into practical technology solutions
- Comfortable working across both technical and non-technical environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience working with outsourced IT providers or technology vendors is desirable
- Ability to balance innovation and experimentation with appropriate governance, risk and security considerations
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is desirable
- Relevant certifications or training across software development, automation or AI technologies will be advantageous
