Elliston Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical/Paediatric/Surgical (MPS) unit on a part-time contract basis. This is a five-week fixed-term role running from 11 September to 16 October 2026, offering 64 hours per fortnight at 0.84 FTE. Based in South Australia and eligible for the rural and remote allowance, the position pays between AUD71.54 and AUD92.71 per hour, providing an opportunity to work across emergency, acute, and aged care settings in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience working in MPS (Medical, Paediatric, and Surgical) environments
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple clinical areas depending on staffing and skill mix requirements
- Solid clinical assessment and communication skills in fast-paced settings
- Willingness to work on a rotating roster as per hospital scheduling
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings is advantageous
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
