Menindee Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis, starting as soon as possible for up to three months. Based in rural NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a generalist acute setting where clinical autonomy and solid decision-making are valued. The position is remunerated at AUD45.00 to AUD60.00 per hour, and suits a nurse with solid ED experience who is comfortable working independently when required.

Preferred Requirements





- Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Solid acute nursing experience with generalist skills across multiple presentations
- Rural and remote nursing experience, or demonstrated ability to adapt to rural healthcare environments
- Capacity to work as the sole RN on duty and manage clinical priorities independently

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current immunisation evidence as per NSW Health requirements
- Ability to drive to site preferred, though not essential
