About the position
As a Visitor Information Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing financial and administrative support to ensure the day-to-day operations of the Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre.
In the role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality visitor services through the management of visitor information resources, promotion of the region, retail operations, and the supervision and support of volunteers involved in customer service and administrative support roles.
Working collaboratively with paid staff and a diverse team of volunteers, you will contribute to accurate, welcoming, and inspiring visitor experiences that encourage visitors to enjoy the region and return.
You will work under regular direction.
- The salary range for this position is $39.26 - $42.48 gross per hour, plus casual loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- This is a Casual position based at the Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre.
- Shifts will be between 8:30am and 4:30pm, with the Visitor Information Centre open 7 days per week.
