About the role

The successful applicants will provide person-centred support tailored to the client's individual needs, providing one-on-one support to an active woman in her 60s living with Multiple Sclerosis. This is a highly rewarding and varied role for individuals who are skilled, reliable, and enjoy supporting someone to live independently and participate fully in everyday life.

Key responsibilities

- Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and assisting with preparation for the day.

- Meal planning, cooking, and food preparation.

- General household duties including cleaning, laundry, bed making, and maintaining a clean, organised home.

- Commencing each shift with a general tidy of the home, returning items to the kitchen and attending to any housekeeping tasks requiring attention.

- Accompanying the client to physiotherapy, exercise physiology, medical appointments, shopping, errands, and other community activities.

- Providing support during social outings, events,



and recreational activities.

- Occasional interstate travel to attend conferences, events, or functions, with all arrangements discussed and agreed upon in advance.
