Join a supportive Orthopaedic team in beautiful Mackay! Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an exciting short term contract within a busy Orthopaedic Ward in Mackay.

Contract Details

- Location: Mackay, QLD
- Orthopaedic Ward
- Contract: 17 August 2026 – 30 August 2026
- Rotating roster including 8 and 12 hour shifts
- Up to 80 hours per fortnight
- Travel and accommodation assistance available (where applicable)

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' recent clinical experience in an acute hospital setting
- Current ieMR training completed within the last 12 months (essential)
- Orthopaedic, Surgical or Acute Ward experience
- Previous Queensland Health experience highly regarded




- Australian clinical experience preferred

Mandatory Requirements

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Manual Handling competency
- Infection Prevention & Control (including Hand Hygiene)
- Mandatory Reporting (Child Abuse & Neglect)
- Occupational Violence Prevention Training
- Ability to complete any required online induction or site specific education
