Broome North OSHC & Vacation Care is opening soon, and we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring educators to join our brand-new team!

We are currently recruiting for:

OSHC Coordinator – Full-Time

We are seeking a confident and experienced Diploma-qualified educator to lead the daily operation of our new OSHC and Vacation Care service.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the establishment of the service, leading the educator team, developing an engaging program and ensuring the service operates in accordance with all regulatory and organisational requirements.

Assistant Educators – Part-Time or Casual

We are also seeking energetic and enthusiastic assistant educators who enjoy working with school-aged children and can help create a fun, safe and engaging environment.

Hours of Work

During school terms:

- After-school care shifts generally between 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm

During school holidays and Department of Education pupil-free days:

- Shifts scheduled between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm





The Coordinator position is full-time and will include administration, programming and service preparation hours outside the service’s direct operating hours.

We’re Looking for People Who:

- Are passionate about working with school-aged children

- Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Are reliable, organised and enthusiastic

- Can create engaging experiences based on children’s interests

- Understand the importance of active supervision and child safety

- Work well independently and as part of a team

- Hold, or are willing to obtain, the required clearances and training

Applicants for the Coordinator position must hold an approved Diploma-level qualification or higher.
