Receptionist - Casual

Rich River Golf Club is one of regional Australia's leading golf, leisure and hospitality destinations, offering championship golf courses, accommodation, dining, sporting facilities and exceptional member and guest experiences.

We are currently seeking a friendly, professional and customer-focused Casual Receptionist to join our team.

As the first point of contact for members, guests, visitors and motel patrons, you will play an important role in creating positive first impressions while delivering outstanding customer service and administrative support across the Club.

About the Role

This is a varied and fast-paced position that combines reception, administration and guest services responsibilities. You will work closely with members, visitors, sporting committees and motel guests while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Club.

Key responsibilities include:

- Greeting members, guests and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.

- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.

- Managing accommodation enquiries and reservations.

- Processing motel guest check-ins and check-outs.

- Promoting accommodation packages and assisting with sales enquiries.

- Preparing guest arrival documentation and package vouchers.

- Processing guest accounts, payments and room charges accurately.

- Handling cash, EFTPOS transactions and daily balancing procedures.

- Assisting members, guests and sporting committees with enquiries and requests.

- Providing administrative support to memberships, promotions, events and other Club departments.

- Preparing documentation for the Motel Housekeeping team.

- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a high standard of attention to detail.





- Supporting the Club's commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.

- Excellent customer service skills and cash handling experience.

- A professional and courteous telephone manner.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult or challenging situations.

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and some public holidays as required.
