Social Media Content Creator – Cars & Motorcycles

Do you spend a lot of time on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube and actually understand what makes good content?

Torella Group is looking for someone to join our team in Kenwick and help create and manage social media content across our automotive, motorcycle and powersports businesses.

You don't need a marketing degree or years of previous marketing experience. We're more interested in finding someone who understands social media, is comfortable taking photos and videos, can create good-looking content and isn't afraid to get involved.

You'll work with a senior member of our team who will direct the overall marketing priorities and which brands and vehicles need attention. Your job will be to get out into the dealerships and actually create the content.

What you'll be doing

- Filming cars, motorcycles, vans and powersports vehicles

- Taking photos and creating short-form video content

- Creating TikToks, Reels, Facebook posts and YouTube content

- Posting regularly across our social media pages

- Doing vehicle walk-arounds, reviews and product videos

- Creating content around new arrivals, deliveries, promotions and dealership activity

- Responding to comments, messages and enquiries across Facebook, TikTok and other platforms

- Working with our sales teams to find vehicles and stories worth filming

- Editing photos and videos ready to post

- Keeping our pages active with fresh, original content rather than simply reposting manufacturer material

You'll be creating content across a large range of automotive and motorcycle brands, including RAM Trucks, LDV, Renault, KGM, Forthing, Fiat Professional, Yamaha, Indian Motorcycle, Royal Enfield, Polaris and Segway Powersports,



as well as used vehicles and other products across the Torella Group.

Who we're looking for

We're not necessarily looking for someone who has already worked in a marketing department.

You might be someone who:

- Has been creating TikToks, Reels or YouTube content yourself

- Understands how Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube work

- Knows how to shoot and edit good short-form video

- Is comfortable using apps such as CapCut, Canva or similar

- Has a good eye for what looks good on social media

- Is confident enough to get around the dealerships and find content

- Can communicate well online and respond to customers professionally

- Is reliable, organised and happy working across a number of different brands

- Has an interest in cars or motorcycles — definitely an advantage, but not essential

Previous marketing employment is not required. If you've got the ability and can show us examples of content you've created, we'd like to hear from you.

Equipment

This is a hands-on content role, so you'll need to provide your own:

- Smartphone or camera capable of producing valuable-quality photo and video content

- Laptop suitable for editing, uploading and managing social media

The role

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position based in Kenwick.

You'll be working inside active car and motorcycle dealerships, so this isn't a role where you'll spend the entire day sitting behind a desk. A big part of the job is getting outside, finding something worth filming and turning it into content.

Pay: $27 per hour + super
38 hours per week – $53,352 per year + super
