About the Role:

We're seeking a Quality Control Assistant to join our fast-paced QA Team at Morningside. If you're detail-focused, reliable, and committed to quality, this could be the opportunity for you.

What we offer:

- $30.35 per hour + Superannuation + Penalties for additional hours
- Monday to Friday, 38 hours/week
- Full Time, Permanent Role with early starts and early finishes
- Supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Fortnightly pay

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor production processes through routine product inspections and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Conduct and accurately record scale, metal detector, gas analyser, air temperature, thermometer, label, and product quality checks.




- Maintain daily records and documentation for traceability, identify issues, and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
- Conduct Black Bag (foreign body), GMP, and pre- and post-operational audits to ensure factory compliance.
- Work closely with the production team to maintain high-quality products and perform other duties required for the role.

About You:

- HACCP or Food Safety training with previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly seafood, meat, poultry, or food safety inspection.
- Sound understanding of WHS, GMP, and food safety requirements, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, work in cold temperatures, and hold full Australian working rights.
