Forklift / Pick Packer - Timber Yard

Foundation Labour Hire is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift / Pick Packer to join a busy timber yard in Caboolture . This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, knows their way around a warehouse or yard, and takes pride in getting orders picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. Working within a busy timber yard, you will be responsible for a combination of forklift operation, picking, packing, loading and general yard duties . You will be required to safely move timber and building products around the yard while ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Pick and pack timber and building products
- Load and unload trucks
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Move and stack timber products throughout the yard
- Check quantities and product specifications against orders
- Assist with general yard and warehouse duties
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Follow all WHS procedures and site requirements
- Work efficiently to meet daily dispatch and production targets
What We're Looking For:
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift experience
- Warehouse, timber yard, building supplies or logistics experience
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to safely handle heavy and awkward materials
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
Timber, building supplies or hardware experience will be highly regarded.
