ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus to the successful applicant, paid in two instalments:
$500 on commencement
$500 after 6 months of continuous employment
We are seeking a Diploma or Bachelor qualified Educator/2nd ECT to support our Kindy room in delivering our Kindergarten Funded Program!
You’ll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to provide engaging, quality learning experiences for children aged 4-5 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children in developing the skills and confidence needed for school readiness while being part of a supportive job-share role that offers excellent work-life balance!
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Nominated Supervisor and Educational leader, you will have the opportunity to role share/support with the ECT in the room. You will jointly be responsible fordelivery of the Kindergarten program in our Montessori room. No previous Montessori experience required - we mentor you!
- You will be responsible for teaching activities in general
- You will be responsible for the review, development and delivery of educational programs (in consultation with the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader)
- You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and routines
- Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
- Assisting with daily room tasks - e.g. activity preparation and meal times
- You will be responsible for providing and/or supporting a comprehensive transition to school program
- Supervise students on placement
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children
- Ensure compliance with our policies and procedures
- Actively liaise with families

- ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience in an Early Childhood setting
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Possess excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the workplace
- Have a explicit understanding of the QKLG/EYLF and NQS
- Have a clear understanding of relevant Regulations
- Experience with Xplor and Playground would be highly regarded
