Rural Merchandise Sales & Warehouse Storeperson

Farmcraft, South East Queensland's largest independently owned group of rural merchandise stores, has been operating in SE Queensland since 1992.

Our store in Coopers Plains deals with a diverse customer base including horticultural producers, animal owners, fencing contractors, home gardeners and lifestyle block owners. The warehouse services both the onsite store, as well as a being a stock receival, despatch and warehouse point for our other stores.

We have an prospect for a full-time Rural Merchandise Sales & Warehouse Storeperson to join oursmall team. The successful applicant will be expected to take a full and active part in the warehouse - managing stock, loading and unloading stock, order picking & packing - as well as assisting in the onsite store with sales and order processing as required. A forklift licence is essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Receipt & dispatch of goods
- Pick & pack orders accurately & in a timely manner,



plus process corresponding paperwork
- Basic use of inventory management software
- Ensuring goods are loaded / unloaded / stored & receipted correctly
- Provide outstanding customer service for in-store sales, and via phone & email
- Manual handling, including lifting of up to 25 kgs
- Operating a forklift

Ideally the successful applicant will possess:

- Experience in warehouse operations, including receipt & dispatch of goods
- Product knowledge of rural merchandise products - Stock Feeds, Agricultural Chemicals, Animal Health, Horticulture &Fencing;
- Attention to detail with ability to prioritise and execute tasks
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team
- Well presented, punctual, reliable and have an excellent work ethic
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
