Prime Recruitment is looking for a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our client’s busy workshop team in Bibra Lake .

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical workshop experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career with a reputable employer .

You’ll work alongside experienced fabricators and welders, gaining valuable exposure to a range of workshop activities.

About the Role As a Trade Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping the workshop running smoothly. You’ll assist fabricators and welders with the preparation of materials and general workshop duties, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work.

Your Responsibilities

- Cutting and preparing pipe and flat bar to required specifications
- Safely and efficiently operating a bandsaw
- Accurately measuring, cutting and preparing materials
- Supporting fabricators and welders with day‑to‑day workshop tasks
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
