As our next Reliability & Maintenance Engineer - Mobile Fleet, you'll play a key role in maximising the performance and reliability of our mobile fleet and associated assets. Working closely with maintenance and production teams, you'll develop and optimise maintenance strategies that improve equipment availability, extend asset life and deliver sustainable cost efficiencies.
This is a high-impact role where you'll apply your technical expertise to solve complex challenges, lead continuous improvement initiatives and support long-term capital planning. What You’ll Be Doing
Reliability & Asset Performance
Develop and optimise maintenance strategies for mobile fleet assetsImprove asset reliability using reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), FMEA and root cause analysis methodologiesIdentify performance improvement opportunities that increase equipment availability and extend asset lifeLead and support investigations into equipment failures and recurring issues
Planning & Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain long-term maintenance plans aligned with operational objectivesSupport budgeting,
forecasting and capital planning activities for mobile assetsDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, reduce costs and improve maintenance effectiveness
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner closely with maintenance, production and technical teams to deliver practical solutionsCoach and mentor team members in reliability and asset management practicesContribute to safety planning initiatives and promote a solid safety culture across the site

You'll Bring
Engineering qualifications or a relevant trade backgroundExperience in reliability engineering, maintenance planning or maintenance leadership rolesStrong problem-solving, analytical and communication skillsExperience working with maintenance systems such as SAP CMMSKnowledge of mobile fleet maintenance and asset management practicesA proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Highly Regarded
Experience in mining, heavy industry,
manufacturing or large-scale industrial environmentsExposure to reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA and Root Cause AnalysisAlignment with our values of Teamwork, Achieve and Care
