Lead a dedicated paediatrics team in Toowoomba and help deliver exceptional care for children and families. As Nurse Unit Manager, you'll provide clinical and operational leadership, support staff growth, and drive service excellence while making a meaningful difference to the health and wellbeing of your community.

What your day could look like

As Nurse Unit Manager, you'll help create positive experiences for children, families and staff by leading a high-performing team and supporting high-quality care across the service. You'll combine clinical leadership, people leadership and service improvement to deliver outcomes that matter.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

- Leading a team to deliver safe, person-centred care.
- Building capability through coaching, support and development.
- Using service insights to improve quality, performance and outcomes.
- Driving change and innovation that strengthens patient care.

You're a compassionate and capable nursing leader who brings people together to achieve great outcomes. You lead with integrity, value respectful relationships and enjoy helping teams grow and succeed. You'll be proud of creating an environment where children and families receive excellent care while staff feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work.

Here's what will help you thrive:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience leading clinical teams and services.
- Strong people, resource and operational management skills.
- Ability to drive improvement and lead change positively.

You'll stand out if you have:

- Postgraduate qualifications in nursing, management or health administration.
- Experience leading service improvements in complex healthcare settings.
