The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Support core financial processes across project accounting and month-end activities.
- Prepare and process timesheet journals and other month-end adjustments.
- Assist with cost of sales reviews and project cost allocations.
- Identify process gaps, inconsistencies and areas that may impact financial accuracy.
- Support the mapping, documentation and continuous improvement of finance processes.
- Establish transparent ownership and accountability across key finance activities.
- Improve consistency in the way processes are performed, documented and communicated.
- Develop processes that are easier to train, hand over and transition between team members.
- Implement regular monthly cost reporting and improve visibility of project financial performance.
- Strengthen handoffs between finance and operational teams.
- Reduce manual rework and improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
- Provide stronger support for revenue recognition and overall project financial management.

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CA or CPA.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
