About therole
Bungeis seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory ManagementAnalyst to join our Trade Services team in Melbourne.
Reportingto the Trading Services Manager, you will be responsible forensuring inventory records accurately reconcile with bulk handlerstock positions across our network. Working closely with Trading,Logistics, Shipping and external bulk handlers, you willinvestigate and resolve stock discrepancies, maintain inventoryintegrity and support the efficient movement of commodities throughthe supply chain.
This isan excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys data analysis,problem solving and working in a fast-paced operationalenvironment.
Keyresponsibilities
- Prepare daily stockreports and reconcile inventory positions across multiple bulkhandlers
- Investigate andresolve stock discrepancies by liaising with internal teams andexternal stakeholders
- Complete monthlystock reconciliations and ensure compliance with SOXrequirements and reporting deadlines
- Manage stockadjustments, stock swaps, regrades and inventory movementswithin business systems
- Process inventorytransactions, accruals and month-end stock activitiesaccurately and on time
- Coordinate containerpacking reconciliations and support shipment closureactivities
- Review and approveinvoices relating to storage, stock movements and inventorytransactions
- Identify andimplement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy,reporting and operational efficiency
Aboutyou
- Previous experiencein inventory control, stock management, logistics, supply chainor a similar analytical role will be highlyregarded
- Strong attention todetail and commitment to data accuracy
- Intermediate toadvanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analyticaland problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manageroutine processes while identifying opportunities forimprovement
- Excellentorganisational skills with the ability to prioritise competingdeadlines
- Strong communicationskills and the ability to build effective working relationshipswith stakeholders
- Self-motivated,proactive and able to work independently and as part of ateam
