Purchasing Officer / Warehouse Allrounder
We're looking for a hands-on Purchasing Officer / Warehouse Allrounder to join our Rowville hub. This is a dual-function role: you'll manage procurement of manufacturing and consumable supplies for the business, negotiation for procurement with our vendors while also getting hands-on in the warehouse — picking, packing and dispatching goods to support our field service and installation teams for around 8 hours per week
The standard working hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday with occasional additional hours to support the business needs.

About the Role
You will help ensure materials are ordered to facilitate manufacturing operations, tools and equipment are received, stored and prepared efficiently for production, installation and service work.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing of manufacturing supplies, consumables and warehouse stock
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable lead times
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels across the Rowville warehouse
- Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch to job sites and other hubs
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock and deliveries
- Operate a forklift safely for the movement and storage of stock
- Liaise with the manufacturing, service and installation teams to forecast supply needs
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse in line with WHS requirements
- Ability to travel to our facilities including overnight stay from time to time
- Support stocktakes and inventory reconciliation processes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current forklift ticket (LF) is essential
- Previous experience in a procurement, inventory coordination role, ideally within doors, roller shutters, or a related trade/mechanical industry will be well regarded
- Proficiency with M1 and or Simpro ERP systems will be well regarded
- Experience in negotiation with suppliers and or running tenders will be well regarded
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable splitting time between administrative/procurement tasks and practical warehouse work
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, well-run warehouse environment
- Clear communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
- A current driver’s licence, mechanical aptitude or previous experience supporting tradespeople will be well regarded.
