About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Asset Management teamfor an Administration Officer Mechanical Workshop.
To provide technical administrative support to the workshop sothat services and repairs can be conducted effectively. Thiswill involve producing the weekly maintenance schedule, managingthe workshop store inventory, procurement of parts for repairs,following up with customers and suppliers and providing technicalsupport for the Computerised Maintenance Management System to theoperations team.
- Produce weekly fleet maintenance schedule using MEXComputerise Maintenance Management System.
- Collate and enter into MEX odometer and hourly readingsfrom Fleet and plant
- Provide administrative support to the Workshopsupervisor
- Procurement of workshop stock and parts.
- Investigate supply sources and source quotations for fleetand plant parts.
- Ensure suppliers maintain compliance with goods ordered,including quantity, quality and delivery specifications andfollow up discrepancies.
This is a fulltime position working 85 hours per fortnight.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you musthave:
- Strong experience interpreting parts required for serviceand repairs for fleet and plant
- Experience undertaking administration duties relating toworkshops
- Sound communication skills – verbal and written.
- Time management skills.
- Understanding of inventory control, monitoring andstocktakes.
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience in interpreting parts required for service andrepairs for Fleet and plant
- Experience in procuring parts.
- Sound computer and keyboard skills.
- ‘C’ class driver’s licence.

Salary : $90,659.97 including overtime perannum
