Australian Coffee and Dough – Mount Kuring-Gai NSW

This role sits at the centre of our supply chain, owning the link between demand forecasts and what actually gets made, bought and delivered. You'll plan production against forecast, manage the raw material and packaging inputs that feed it, keep our supplier base fit for purpose, and make sure inventory — especially long-lead-time materials — never becomes the reason we let a customer down. It's a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable owning a forecast, a supplier relationship and a production schedule in the same week.

Key responsibilities

Translate demand forecasts into production plans, working with the manufacturing team to schedule runs that meet service targets without overloading capacity or working capital.

Own the forecasting process — building and refining forecasts by product and channel, accounting for trends, seasonality, promotions and new product launches.

Plan raw material and packaging requirements against the production schedule, ensuring the right inputs are on hand at the right time.

Lead the onboarding of current suppliers and new products into the supply chain, from initial setup through to first supply.

Liaise directly with key suppliers to negotiate and lock in contracts, pricing and supply terms that protect continuity and cost.

Monitor inventory levels across raw materials, packaging and finished goods, with particular focus on long lead time items where a stock-out has the biggest downstream impact.

Proactively identify supply, demand and delivery risks and resolve them before they reach the customer — chasing down the problem, not just reporting it.

Report on forecast accuracy, stock coverage and supplier performance, and flag issues early to the wider commercial and operations team.

Contribute to continuous improvement of planning tools, processes and ways of working across the supply chain.

About you

3+ years' experience in supply chain, demand or production planning, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar make-to-forecast environment.

Solid working knowledge of forecasting, MRP/production planning and inventory management principles.

Confidence dealing directly with suppliers — comfortable negotiating terms and holding them to account.

Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP or planning systems highly regarded.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset — someone who spots a risk early and chases it down rather than waiting for it to become a customer issue.

Clear communicator who can work across manufacturing, procurement, sales and logistics teams.

About us

Join a well-established, growing Australian manufacturer with a genuine reputation to protect.

A varied role with real ownership — you'll see your planning decisions play out on the factory floor and in the market.

Supportive team environment based at our Mount Kuring-gai site.
