The Customer Rebates Analyst is responsible for the accurate administration of customer rebate programs, ensuring payments are processed correctly, on time, and in accordance with contractual agreements. Working closely with Finance and operational stakeholders, the role focuses on maintaining robust financial controls, resolving rebate-related queries, and supporting reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Description
- Manage the end-to-end administration of customer rebate programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed terms
- Review rebate agreements and apply eligibility criteria, rates, thresholds, and payment terms correctly
- Process recurring and ad hoc rebate payments within agreed service levels
- Validate rebate calculations against sales data, customer information, and contractual requirements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and payment issues
- Reconcile rebate balances and support month-end reporting, accruals, and financial close activities
- Prepare regular reporting on rebate activity, payment status, and key trends
- Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and customer stakeholders to resolve queries and improve outcomes
- Maintain strong controls, audit trails, and supporting documentation
- Identify and support process, system, and reporting improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy
Profile
A successful Rebates Analyst should have:
- Previous experience in finance operations, accounts receivable, rebates, claims administration, or a related analytical finance role
- Solid reconciliation and data analysis capabilities
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and controls
- The ability to interpret contractual terms and apply them consistently
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
