About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Officer – Assets & Infrastructure, this role coordinates and manages the directorate’s response to audit recommendations, claims, insurer requests, legal enquiries and Freedom of Information (FOI) matters. The core responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and tracking directorate responses to audit recommendations, ensuring timely action and closeout.
- Gather, validate and coordinate accurate information for claims, insurer requests and legal enquiries.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to FOI requests and Special Investigation Requests in line with statutory obligations.
- Work closely with internal teams, Governance and external stakeholders to gather, verify and clarify information.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with experience in supporting legal, FOI or claims-related environments. You have strong communication skills and bring a governance-focused continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated experience in legal, FOI or claims-related roles within a complex organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise and accurate documentation.
- High attention to detail and the ability to source, analyse and validate information from multiple stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships across teams and work collaboratively to deliver outcomes within timeframes.
