The School ofNursing and Midwiferyare excited to share a fixed-termopportunityfor the role of PlacementOfficer,commencingin October 2026
The Placement officer position is a part-timeopportunity based at theLogan campus, supportingNursing and Midwiferydisciplines to deliverplacements.It isanticipatedthat the successful candidate will undertake a range of administrative tasksrelating to placements
The role will be part of theClinical PlacementOffice andwill work closely withboth skilled andacademic staff from theNursing and Midwiferydisciplines,under the guidance of the Placement Team Leader.
About you
We are seekinga team member who ismotivated, highlyorganisedand experienced administrator/placement officer who thrivesin a dynamicfast pacedwork environment. Ability to work in a team, high attention to detail, and intermediate to advanced software skills arerequired. Placement experience would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support for studentplacementincluding the allocation, coordination,
and/or management ofplacementprograms.
- Utilisingplacementsoftware to manage the ongoingplacementrequirements andaccuratereporting, asneeded.
- Attendingmeetings of relevance to the role, including placement officer meetings at the School and Health Group, discipline-specific meetings forNursing and Midwifery asrequired.
What we can offer
This is a fixed-term (until 01 April 2027), part-time (0.60FTE) position primarily based at Griffith University Logan. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $82,415 - $92,456 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,426 - $108,174 per annum.
