Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a newly built, modern food manufacturing facility in Yatala. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on leader to play a key role in establishing and maintaining a high-performing production operation. You will lead a production team, drive daily performance, develop people and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop production team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities across the production floor.
- Ensure production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and on time.
- Monitor production output, labour utilisation, productivity and performance against targets.
- Identify and proactively manage production issues, bottlenecks, downtime and material shortages.
- Ensure materials, ingredients and packaging are available to support production requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records, reporting and documentation.
- Ensure products are manufactured consistently to required quality, food safety and customer standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety requirements and site procedures.

About you





- Previous experience supervising or leading a production or manufacturing team.
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing performance and productivity.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
- A hands‑on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of GMP, HACCP and food safety principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Brand-new, contemporary food manufacturing facility in Yatala.

Permanent full-time position.

Monday to Friday, 8:0am – 5.30pm.
