Innisfail Hospital in Queensland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract from 14 September to 11 October 2026. This is an excellent prospect to work in a dynamic acute care setting, supporting a busy ED team while earning between AUD$55.65 and AUD$70.82 per hour. Preferred Requirements
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated experience with iEMR and FirstNet systems
- Formal triage training and competence in emergency triage assessment
- Minimum 12 months of recent emergency department nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (desirable)
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing professional development in emergency nursing
