Core Talent is currently recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor to join a growing project team delivering major industrial and automation projects.
This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Site Supervisor who enjoys being on the tools, coordinating multiple contractors and making sure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You’ll be involved in large-scale projects across the industrial, FMCG, warehousing, logistics and commercial sectors .
The Role
You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day site operations, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients and installation teams to keep works moving and ensure everything is delivered as planned.
- Supervising daily site activities and coordinating multiple trades and contractors
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Coordinating installation, construction and project activities on site
- Reading and interpreting drawings and ensuring works are delivered accordingly
- Monitoring project progress, quality and workmanship
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring WHS requirements are maintained
- Coordinating site teams, materials, equipment and resources
- Working closely with clients, contractors and project management teams
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact project delivery
- Supporting commissioning, installation and handover activities where required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who knows how to run a site and isn’t afraid to get involved.
- 5+ years' experience in site supervision or site management
- Experience across industrial, FMCG, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or commercial projects
- Solid subcontractor and workforce management experience
- A solid understanding of construction processes, WHS and quality requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction and technical drawings
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proven ability to coordinate multiple activities and competing priorities
- Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded
Experience That Will Stand Out
- Automation or material handling
- Distribution centres and large warehouses
- Food manufacturing or FMCG
- Industrial construction
- Installation or commissioning environments
- Greenfield or brownfield projects
- Principal contractor or engineering environments
A mechanical or electrical trade background would also be highly regarded.
Experience with major automation businesses would be advantageous.
What You Can Expect
- Work on large‑scale industrial and automation projects
- Monday to Friday, typically 6am-3pm
- Some Saturday work when required
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced project and construction teams
- Exposure to complex projects across multiple industries
Requirements
- Current White Card
- Relevant site supervision experience
- Ability to pass a medical assessment
- Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing
- Flexibility to travel interstate for short‑term project requirements
