UGL’s Energy & Industrial are seeking an experienced Supervisor - Electrical to support our team on the Goyder BESS project in South Australia!
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor is responsible for front-line supervision of electrical construction activities, workforce coordination and safe project delivery. You will play a critical role in ensuring work is completed safely, to specification, on time and in line with contractual requirements.
This is a hands-on, site-based role on the DIDO/FIFO roster that requires solid leadership, technical electrical expertise, and a proactive approach to safety and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities
- Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices to ensure productivity, quality and compliance.
- Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and associated services.
- Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.
- Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives
- Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met
